We took a break and spent the weekend touring around our neighborhood, San Miguel Chapultepec and Roma Norte to experience some of the finest contemporary art shows on occasion of the activation of galleries associated with the platform GAMA 2022.
Well known for hosting international and latin contemporary artists, Kurimanzutto showed the erotic drawings of Serguéi Eisenstein. Galería de Arte Mexicano -one of the eldest galleries in the country- hosted solo shows of the painters Anibal Delgado and Alicia Ayanegui.
As for the new exhibition space of Nordenhake gallery -designed by the architect Frida Escobedo- hosted an art installation of the conceptual artist Helen Mirra. In contrast Patricia del Conde gallery kept their curatorial essence showing photographs from the artist Patricia Lagarde.
Our tour continued with visits to other galleries: RGR, Travesia 4 and Galería Mascota, finding insights of contemporary art pieces that could go along with our furniture pieces in you intimate spaces.
